We're planning on holding the second installement and little pre-Christmas gathering at the bottom, top then back at the bottom of Awaba Street including coffees and pastries.
Awards and trophies given for the following:
* Men's & Women's Time Fastest (MTF & WTF)
No Trophies but special mention to the following:
* Fastest in weight category - similar to boxing
* Men's & Women's Time Fastest Age Category (MTFAC & WTFAC)
Rules:
Almost anything goes but since there are prizes on the line we have to have some rules ...
* Standing Start at the dotted line of The Esplanade and the bottom of ASH
* Clock starts when tyres start to roll away from the dotted line at the beginning of Awaba Street
* Clock stops once the front tyre crosses the sign just before the round-a-bout at the intersection of Awaba and Moruben St (turning left into Moruben Street to recover)
* Abide by all Road Rules inc helmet etc
* Timing is completed on stop watches and communication via walkie talkies - therefore there is a small chance of user error!
* No motorised bikes ... sorry had to add that one in
