 Ride Across Portugal Black

twowheeltours  is offering an experience in combination with Ride Across Portugal. In 2019 it will be the third edition of this great event. Course details will be released in the near future.

In 2019 the Ride Across Portugal with start in the North of Portugal and wind its way South to finish in the Algarve. Riders will once again cross  the National Road 2 (N2) which was built in 1945. The N2 was born from a project that gathered several old routes and paths like the Royal Road and some of the most important Roman roads that crossed the ancient Iberian Roman province of Lusitania to create this mythical road. The project started in 1930, the Portuguese Government aimed to create a single road that would cross the entire country, north to south, through its most central axis.

For the third instalment participants will ride countless new kilometers, through various provinces and municipalities such as the UNESCO Douro Valley and not to mention over mountains and crossing Portugal's beautiful rivers and water-ways. We cannot wait to cross this amazing country through some of the most iconic cities, towns and villages of Portugal.

twowheeltours will start and conclude the tour in the magical city of Lisbon, while there we will do a few rides including a city tour and one ride out in the hills of Sintra - another UNESCO location.
